you used to love

you used to love
with tumbling turquoise sea
satin gathered ruffles
wrapping the knee

the swooshing stance
of the venus faced willow tree
backyard pools
highschool poetry

crackiling sunsets
salt stained sea breezes
thumping dance floors
open skies and string bikinis

you used to love
with shakey scaffolding
glowing cable tv
boundary-less family
that piled like
home made jelly

you used to love. . .
